PATENTS
Over
time, our society has registered 45 patents while other ideas are to be
patented at the OSIM.
Patents represent technical solutions which have
lead to the assimilation of new products, to perfecting current
technologies and the manufacturing of new equipments.
The
most important technologies are those used for fire resistant belts and
textile/steel cord insertion belts, high-temperature resistant belts,
white food grade rubber belts, oil-resistant belts, Chevron belts;
belt-refurbishing technologies, recycling metal insertion tires and
others.
Our newest applied technology is the production procedure for steel cord tear proof belts.
By
applying all these patents there have been great cut-backs and economic
efficiency thus in the year 2000 the company saved 8 billion ROL and in
2005 about 70 billion ROL.
