Labour protection and environment protection represent for S.C. ARTEGO S.A. an important task that can be accomplished through a unitary conception and thinking.

     ARTEGO produces and commercializes technical rubber items, moulds and metallic accessories, reclaimed rubber, services of blending through vulcanization of belts and generates offals that have a considerable impact to the environment, oxygen, textiles, bread and fresh pastry products. Our efforts (from functional and organizational point of view) are dedicated to continuous improvment of the enviroment protection and to prevent pollution, fallowing not only to respect the imposed limits by the legislation, but also to anticipate the legal requirements and other enviromental requirements to wich the organization subscribed to.

     That is why the management of the comany expressed the fallowing guide lines that wish to represent the frame to fixing objectives and enviromental targets.
   1. The promotion of an enviroment conscience
Only with motivated and focused collaboratoors we can obtain an efficient enviroment protection. By a regular exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as by an initiation and by perfecting it is encouraged a promotion of consience in enviroment to all levels.
   2. The promotion of enviroment as a task of projection and planning
The enviroment protection begins with the stage of developement of new products and new tehnological procedures. It continues in the stage of tehnical planning and of purchasing and location of new equipement and installations.
   3. The pervention of soil and atmosphere pollution by adopting the most efficient techniques of maintaining our equipment and by training the entire staff.
   4. The improvement of the management of scrap materials and of planing work as well as to reduce the scrap materials and to store/eliminate them according to the present enviroment requirements
   5. The unfolding of activities and of operating the equipements, in a way that protects the environment, health and the safty ofemployees, as well as preventing the appearance of emergensy situations and testing the response capacity.
   6. To use in a rational way the resources
The avoidance, quantity diminuation of scrap materials has priority to their destruction. We are economical with resources like energy and water. The development of new products and procedures is made according to this desideratum
   7. Continuous improvement by accomplishing the objectives.
The management of the company periodically evaluates the efficiency of the environment management system and assures this way an agreement between the results of the objectives agreed with the enviroment policy. In case of nonconformity with this policy, the management takes action to correct them
   8. Our partner of contract - partner for the environment protection
Adopting a proper attitude, we take action that our contract partners take into consoderation the same relevant standards for environment as we do. The existence of collaboration based on trust between communities is necesary. That’s why for us it is clearly understand to inform sincerly and clear and to have a transparent dialogue with the community, the clients and authorities.
